The Kinetics model SVRS-Y is a heavy
industrial SCR regulated output rectifier
with the DC output voltage or current,
adjusted or stabilized based on a
control signal supplied from a remote
supplied source. The remotely supplied
signal to the Kinetics exciter can
be either 4 – 20 milliamp or
0 – 10 VDC. For application
with "non-standard" analog
signals or digital command signals,
please consult directly with Kinetics’
product engineering. All Kinetics
units with remotely adjusted output
capacity, come standard with a local
/ remote selection switch. In the
local mode the unit output is adjusted
via an "at unit" output
adjustment potentiometer. "Special"
or "customer customizing"
features to a rectifier are denoted
within a "Y" suffix to the
unit model number.
Systems are available as single phase
or three phase inputs. Units are available
in the 500 watts to 2,000 Kw capacity
range.
The SVRS-Y contains all the same
basic features as the Kinetics model
SVRS but with the addition of remote
signal interfacing.
The SVRS-Y
exciter can be provided with Kinetics’
solid state field application system,
Synchapp-SS and Kinetics’ digital
logic controller and annunciation
module, KinetSync-SR for brush type
motors. The KinetSync-NB is available
for brushless motors. |
